This retro-inspired greeting card uses vintage mugshot aesthetics and institutional language to name one of history’s most persistent “offenses”: refusing to be managed. Set against a bold, warm-orange background, the front features a centered mugshot image stamped with the charge “OFFENSE: REFUSAL TO COMPLY”, followed by the line “Booked for refusing to be managed.” The authority voice is deliberate — and quietly indicts itself. Inside, the card shifts from accusation to affirmation.
Featuring interior imagery of people resisting dehumanization, it carries a message drawn from The Sapient Survival Guide’s final rule for surviving a cultural and moral collapse: Stay Human.
