This is a part of a comment sent in to a local public radio station for a segment about protesting in America--protests ignited from coast to coast after the brutal murder of George Floyd by police officers. This moment is focusing our collective attention on the long-standing racial injustices (1619 -- 2020). Now is the time to end this brutality and injustice.
